<p>There are actually diet rules out there that are meant to be broken? Yes,  recently many dated diet guidelines and myths are up for speculation. You’ve  probably heard all these silly rules before, but experts weigh-in on the  worthiness of these supposed truisms &#8211; most of which won&#8217;t help you lose weight  or make dieting any easier.</p>
<p>10 Food Rules You Can Ignore:</p>
<p>1. Eating at night will pile on the pounds. The total calories you consume over  a 24-hour period or over a week is what causes you to gain weight, and when you  eat these calories doesn&#8217;t matter.</p>
<p>2. It&#8217;s best to eat at the same times every day. Eat when you&#8217;re hungry, not  when the clock says it&#8217;s time to eat.</p>
<p>3. <a href="../diet-programs/diets-to-lose-weight-fast" target="_self"> Dieting</a> with a buddy always makes weight loss easier. Common goals may pay  off but weight loss is a personal journey.</p>
<p>4. Dietary fat keeps you feeling full longer, so you&#8217;ll eat less. Fat does take  longer to digest, but it will not help you control your appetite. Foods likely  to fight off hunger the longest are protein foods, followed by carbohydrates,  then fats.</p>
<p>5. When you blow your diet, you might as well wait until the next day to get  back on track. Nothing could be farther from the truth- always try to get right  back on track with your next meal.</p>
<p>6. Refusing food at a party or when visiting is rude. Turning down food that you  know will blow your diet is socially acceptable.</p>
<p>7. Skipping a meal every now and then will help you lose. Skipping a meal means  you will be so hungry at the next meal that you are likely to overeat. This can  also help lead to a slowdown of your metabolism.</p>
<p>8. Bread is fattening, nuts are fattening, pasta is fattening. Whole-wheat  bread/pasta is a great source of nutrients, and it won&#8217;t make you gain weight  more than any other food with the same number of calories.</p>
<p>9. All calories are equal. This is somewhat true, however; you&#8217;ll get more  nutrients from a 100-calorie apple than from a 100-calorie portion of white  bread. Choose healthier items if you are losing weight, or controlling your  hunger.</p>
<p>10. If you don&#8217;t clean your plate, you&#8217;re wasting food. If you just don&#8217;t feel  right leaving the table until you&#8217;ve cleaned your plate, underestimate your  hunger and put less food on your plate to begin with, or you may overeat.</p>
<p>Don’t believe everything you hear! Much of it is just superstition. Now you can  tell your friends the real truth. In the end, nutrition experts say, many of the  food and dieting rules we hold dear are meant to be broken &#8211; without guilt!</p>

<p>There are a plethora of fad diets with outrageous claims for weight loss. The diets may include a fast, or juice fast, diet pills, or meal replacement shakes or even hypnosis. There are some far out ways to try to lose weight fast on the market. That is because the market is such a money marker and lures our fat society into buying them and trying them.<span id="more-540"></span></p>
<p>We are the fattest country in the world. In the United States, 64% of adults are overweight. This is a major health issue because there are so many weight related illnesses. The diet industry exploits this fact. For our health we should be thin and here is the diet for you to lose weight fast.</p>
<p>One of the newer ones is the use of aromatherapy. Certain scents are supposed to decrease our appetite. Our sense of smell and our appetite are connected. When we smell something good and we are hungry we will begin to salivate. On the other hand, if something smells adverse we sure do not want to eat it. The way this works is you trick your body by using the scents to make you feel full. Essential oil scents are used such as lavender, orange and peppermint. The idea is you inhale the essential oil before your meal and you will eat less. It sounds less dangerous than most fad diets.</p>
<p>Meal replacement shake diets have some problems. As human beings we crave a variety of foods. Drinking a shake for every meal or two meals a day can be boring and not satiating. A large percentage of people who start this type of diet drop out. Replacement meals do not teach you how to eat in a healthy way when you are done with the diet.</p>
<p>The newer diet pills like Hoodia have not been studied enough yet as to its safety. Green Tea is another popular new weight loss tool. The older diet pills contain ephedrine, caffeine, or phenylpropalanomine. These have been knows to cause addiction, high blood pressure, heart arrhythmias and even increase your risk for a stroke.</p>
<p>There are many ideas out there for losing weight fast. Our society wants everything fast and convenient. It should be no surprise that we want to lose weight fast too.</p>
<p>Fast weight lost is not good for our bodies or our minds. The weight lost on a fad diet is generally water weight which you will regain rapidly. There are many health risks associated with fad diets including dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and even depression. Stay away from losing weight fast diets.</p>
<p>If you want to lose weight, do so safely. Eat a well balanced meal including all the food groups, and control your portion sizes. Eat small healthy snacks between meals to keep your energy up Exercise at least three times per week, and drink eight to ten glasses of water a day. If you must choose a commercial diet choose it carefully and make sure it is a safe one. Losing weight gradually is better for our bodies and the results are long term. Learn how to eat healthy and exercise and you will never have a weight problem again.</p>

<p>Be honest, are you one of those people that is struggling to low thigh fat? If you are, you are going to thrilled because I got 4 steps that I am going to share with you today that can help you lose thigh fat and get them toned up.<br />
In the title it self, it highlighted the word thigh fat, which means, we need to lose the fat that is surrounding the legs, the back of the legs and butt. So, now you need to know that there is no way we can specifically burn the fat areas in the thigh. We need to burn the body fat from the whole body and eventually; you will burn the fat that is surrounding the thighs.</p>
<p><span id="more-309"></span></p>
<p>But don’t that not all. We can do lots of legs exercise to tone and shape up the thighs so that they look lean and well defined. Weight training must be included if you want some shape in those legs that catches attention. But do not worry; you would not get huge body builder’s legs. Female do not have the testosterone hormones to build enormous muscle.</p>
<p>Step 1</p>
<p>First thing first, if we want to lose thigh fat, we need to make sure our cardio training is done correctly. This means you do your cardiovascular training according to the right fat burning intensity and also duration of the session. Now, this is extremely important because we need to utilize the fats in the fat cells and in order to do that, we need to laser target our cardio into fat burning mode.</p>
<p>So, here is the deal, you need to do 3 to 5 times a week of cardio training and 30 to 45 minutes per session to get the body fat down. I really sound like a broken record but the thing is, this stuff really work. The key to weight loss is to have enough cardio done, which is 3-5 times a week. I did not mean weight training is not important, but cardio training does all the fat burning task.</p>
<p>Step 2</p>
<p>Just now we talked about the time you should do your cardio, now you need to laser target your cardio intensity. You need to be doing your cardio training at 75 percent to 85 percent of your max heart rate. At this intensity level, your body will be using body fat from the fat cells as energy.</p>
<p>Don’t just come into the gym and walk on the treadmill. Challenge yourself. You need to overload your body in order to get response from the body and then subsequently results!</p>
<p>Step 3</p>
<p>Now we got the cardio out of the way, I am going to introduce to you 3 exercises that you can do which can help you tone up your thighs. Your new sexy legs will make heads turn!</p>
<p>First of all, I need you to do walking lunges. This exercise is the queen of leg exercises! It really gets your muscle working until you did not even know you have those muscles in the first place.</p>
<p>Grab a pair of dumbbells and stand up with your feet side by side. Keep your back straight and palms facing teach other beside your thighs. Then, with your left leg, take one large step forward. With a liquid movement, drop the right knee until the knee almost touches the ground. You must still keep your body upright.</p>
<p>Then, with your right leg, which is the back leg, take one large step forward. Now, your left leg will be the back leg. Drop your back knee until in almost touches the ground. This is considered one repetition. Do 15 repetitions for 3 sets.</p>
<p>Step 4</p>
<p>Ok, now for another killer technique that will really burn your thigh and whip it into shape. This technique is called drop sets. This is really a crazy technique that can get your thighs screaming! The concept is that you start your set with a very heavy weight and low reps. Then, you decrease the weight and increase the reps. This happens for three rounds of reduction which is called one set.</p>
<p>For example, we will use the leg press. Leg press is an exercise that really burns the entire leg muscles. For starters, we will do 8 reps of 70 kg. Then, when 8 reps is complete, do 10 reps of 60 kg and then finally 12 reps of 50 kg. By the time you finish the last one, you will be jumping up and down trying to get the acid lactic out of your thighs!</p>

<p>Do you know that you can burn 100 calories or more by adding something extra into your workout within spending more time? With 100 calories extra, in 35 sessions, you will be losing an extra one-pound of body fat on top of the total body fat that you will lose from your normal weight loss exercise routine.</p>
<p>This question became very popular because there are so many people out there that are hitting the weight loss plateau. They are exercising hard but yet they are not losing any more weight. This is very frustrating and sometimes can be very demoralizing. But you don’t have to worry now, I will share with you methods that I teach with my subscribers in Fast Fat Loss E-Mag on how to burn more calories during your workout.</p>
<p><span id="more-310"></span></p>
<p>Step one. Please get out of the fancy machine and hit the free weights and cables. There are many things that these machines cannot offer. Although they are highly engineered and are of latest technologies, they still do not train your muscle on balancing and coordination. The movement path is fixed and all you have to do is push. But with free weights, you need to balance the weights, focus on coordination, and focus on the power and speed of individual arm and also the movement path. This will burn more calories. Not only that, the muscle is worked more intensely. This will require more calories from the body for muscle recovery.</p>
<p>Step two, add in lunges into other exercises. Most of the time, people think that lunges is used only to work the butt, quads and hamstrings. But not many people know that lunges can be integrated into other exercises to make the exercise more complex and intense. A good example is dumbbell shoulder press with lunge. This exercise works the shoulders, the triceps, the core and the entire lower body. Rather than just sitting down on the bench and pressing the weights upwards, why not add in the lunges.</p>
<p>To perform this exercise, start by standing up with your feet side by side. Hold the dumbbells at shoulder height with your palms facing forward. And with one fluid movement, step out your right leg and drop vertically downwards until your left knee almost touches the floor. Press the dumbbells all the way up as you lower the left knee. Then step back to original position and repeat with your left leg.</p>
<p>There are many other exercise that you can add lunges to. You can add lunges to your dumbbell bicep curls, to your oblique twist with fitball and many more.</p>
<p>Step 3. Add squats into your other exercise. This is a similar concept of the lunges. By adding leg movements into your upper body movements, you almost double up your calorie burn. This is because the more muscle you exercise, the more calories you burn.</p>
<p>An interesting way you can add squats into your exercise is doing squats with your cable rows. First, stand up straight with the bar in your hands. Take a step back so that the weight stack is up. Then, instead of just bringing the bar to your stomach, squat down first, hold the position then bring the bar to your stomach. Return to the original position by extending your arms fully and the stand back up.</p>
<p>Step 4. You can also add in unrelated exercises in between sets. This means that instead of just resting one minute between a set of pull downs, why not do a set of crunches or a set of triceps press downs. This sort of supersets really can increase the intensity of the exercise and your heart rate.</p>
<p>You can also do chest exercises superset with abs, shoulder exercises superset with leg exercise. To take it another level higher, superset the weight training sets with a 2-minute high intensity cardio like uphill running or the Stair master</p>
<p>Step 5. Stick to large muscle groups and do only compound exercises. Large muscle groups like legs, back, chest and shoulders burns a lot if calories during a session of weight training. This because the size of these muscle groups are far larger than biceps and triceps. Use compound exercises to hammer these muscle groups. Compound exercises like squats, dead lift, chin-ups, barbell bench press and barbell shoulder press utilizes a lot of calories because lots of muscles are being worked at one time.</p>

<p>The surgery has steps taken to modify the amount of digestive tract that is available for the absorption of nutrients thus limiting the amount of nutrients the body absorbs. There are many types of procedures that can be carried out and they are as varied as the approaches they take to lessen the absorption factors. Though some have limitations and not everybody can undergo these procedures maybe due to underlying diseases but patients who do succeed and are candidates do get manageable results to remedy their severe obesity. Grouped into three major areas; Malabsorptive Procedures, Restrictive procedures, and mixed procedures which can attain the effects from a combination of the two previous processes.</p>
<p>Malabsorptive procedures are generally done to lessen the stomach area that is available to absorb and digest nutrients. This can be a bilo-pancreatic division procedure where the stomach is made smaller and the small intestine is then connected to that smaller pouch. This is now loosing appeal due to some problems associated with malnutrition in patients who fail to eat proper diets, succumbing to the opposite of obesity. Another procedure, the Jejuno-ileal bypass is no longer performed due to complications. The act of lessening the area of the stomach is usually permanent and the tissue is absorbed by the body as it is no longer used.</p>
<p>The next group of bariatric surgery, are the restrictive procedures which can have the stomach either permanently made smaller with stapes or have an elastic adjustable band attached to it allowing adjustment of the volume it can contain. The last group, are the most successful for they combine the good points of all the previous procedures, making the stomach shorter and bypassing most of the intestines lessening the absorptive powers of the digestive tract. Gastric bypass surgery, has the stomach stapled making it smaller then the intestines is cut and attached to that smaller pouch. This has seen the most success for it still maintains the function of the whole digestive tract and just diminishes the ability of the organs within to absorb nutrients through volume reduction and bypassing most of the intestines through re-attachment.</p>
<p>The term detoxification is a misnomer for the body has its natural detoxification system which is the liver and there is no more need in boosting or augmenting it. The liver is the best detoxification system in the human body which filters out all the body’s toxins sending them out as waste. Another area of artificial fashionable fat loss/reduction products, contain herbal ingredients that over stimulate the body leading to heat stroke due to the loss of too much fluids from the blood which can lead to shock and even death. Choose a diet and exercise regimen that allows loss of a pound or two a week which is more normal and allows the body to re-adjust to the new diet and body mass accordingly. Nothing that is promised to work in a few days that promises tens of pounds off is safe so be healthy.</p>
<p>The stories come out right before awards nights with many celebrities swearing to their effectivity, fasting and detoxification diets. They say they work, yet experts say they’re dangerous. First, depriving your body of the full myriad of minerals contained in the various foodstuffs we eat can cause the body’s natural balance to become erratic leading to mood-swings, loss of energy and more serious effects to one’s health. The variety of foods we eat contains more or less the total amount of minerals fiber and compounds that allows us to stay healthy which is why doctors recommend a well balanced diet from all the food groups. Take away one and it would be similar to pulling one leg from a table and your body tumbles down. There is no quick way to loose weight and you weigh what you eat. The more active a person is the more calories is burned off.

<p>In such times as these, obesity has come to surround us in a canopy of hopelessness. It brings us close to despair, and added to the fact that most diet regimes fall flat, it becomes more like fighting swords with thin air. But there is a relief; there is hope; and followed properly, there are many ways of losing fat easily over the belly. We are talking of losing fat; we aren&#8217;t talking of parting the Red sea. The Atkins diet, a fat diet or even those pre-packaged programs sometimes go a long way in making you weaker and feeling more irritable and nauseous. It is because they affect metabolic reverses. </p>
<p>There are many easy methods by which you can lose fat:</p>
<p>1) There is the five-meal plan which suggests that body needs to have small meals in terms of quantity spread over a five-meal course. When you glutton on fats, the vital nutrients go a begging. The body feels that you are going through a famine phase and increases fat storage in its tissues. This causes more unwanted fat to remain on the body. Sticking to a five meal plan helps you with losing weight.</p>
<p>2) Proper exercise regimes which increase metabolism are important; such exercises allow you to lose fat even while you are amidst a resting phase.</p>
<p>3) Structured diets are a scientifically brought up formulae catering to the different necessities of different metabolisms. There are thousands of such varieties, fiber- rich and balanced, for example. Such diets can generate the metabolic rate to shoot-up within the body and readies your metabolism to fight against shedding weight.</p>
<p>4) Nutritional food is far better than processed foods. Taking in nutritional diets like fruits, vegetables, whole meal breads and pasta goes a long way in getting your metabolism into a frenzy.</p>
<p>5) Fat is registered first in the belly, because humans have evolved in such a way that they use their arms and legs more often. These parts thus remain routinely exercised. The belly has a sedentary lifestyle. Low-calorie meals, along with pretty high-octane aerobics, thus should be the ideal freedom cards for you. Proper dieting facilitates its normal operations and aerobics helps burn down fats to a tee. Weight training gives the added dimension of toned muscles.  </p>
<p>6) While still in the chambers of obesity, it becomes increasingly difficult to find hope anywhere around, thus it is important to keep yourself motivated. There is no better way to do so than giving yourself some reward once you get through a small chunk of weight loss. Weight loss regimes should have some predefined parameters and goals, and these should be specific and small. They then have then a better chance of materializing.</p>
<p>7) You can also try vanguard techniques like the &#8216;belly shock&#8217; method. This one is especially for ladies. Shock the body with a multiple fare of Diets, Supplements, and Cardio and let it evolve its own metabolic responses to burn down fat, this is also a great method.
